You need:
- hoop 2 x layers water-soluble
stablizer
- fabric of choice
- thread to match your
fabric
- puffy batting (any type
will do)
- embroidery scissors

- Stitch first default
color.
- This is a running stitch
which indicates the area the fabric must be
placed on
|

- Stitch second default
color
- which again is a running
stitch and will secure the batting and fabric
in place

- This is what your project
should look like
- I recommend NOT to cut
the excess fabric away at this time
- Carefully follow the
instructions as set out in this tutorial to
ensure a perfect project - first time!

- Remove hoop from embroidery
machine WITHOUT interferring with the hooped
fabric
- At the back, spray adhesive
spray and stick lining or fabric to the back

- Replace hoop in your
embroidery machine and stitch the next color
(which will be a running stitch)
- This running stitch will
secure the lining in place
- DO NOT cut away excess
fabric now.

- Carefully keep an eye
on your design while the final satin outline
will be stitched
- Interrupt your design
when a zigzag stitch secured the edge of your
design

- Remove hoop from embroidery
machine and ONLY NOW cut away the excess fabric
from the front and from the back
|

- You may now trim as close
as possible
- Your fabric will not
tear away from the satin stitching as it has
been properly secured

- NOW replace hoop in embroidery
machine and continue where you interrupted your
final stitching
- The satin stitches will
cover all raw edges neatly

loop with button on either side and your towel
topper is finished and ready to attach your
